Holiday Gift Guide for the Knitters, Crocheters, Spinners, and Weavers in Your Life

Holiday shopping for crafters can be hard sometimes. Maybe you're unsure of which craft exactly your loved one does. Do they knit? Crochet? Weave? Spin? Felt? If you're not sure of the difference between a crochet hook and knitting needles, this post is for you. 

There are plenty of gifts for craft enthusiasts that don't actually entail the craft they do. Picking a gift like this will avoid returns after the holiday. You'll notice that the one thing I haven't mentioned here for your gift recipient is yarn. You're probably questioning why a yarn seller like myself wouldn't suggest that as the first thing to buy as a gift. Here's the thing: yarn is a matter of personal choice. If you know your recipient well enough to know which weight of yarn they use the most, which fiber content they like the most, and which colors they like the most, then yes, yarn will make a fabulous gift. Yarn would also make a fabulous gift if you're like me, and you give your secret Santa direct links to the items you want the most. ;-) If you don't have that level of familiarity with your gift recipient, then the best thing to do would be to stick to a knitting or crochet notion (like a tote bag) or give them a gift certificate.
